Orchestras and ensembles

Are you interested in playing orchestra or ensemble? Talk to your teacher. It is the teacher who decides when it's time to start playing in an orchestra. We expect that students who are offered places in orchestras or ensembles will participate, as it is an important aspect of the tuition we offer.

Study materials, codes and fees

  • It is the student’s responsibility to pay for necessary study materials.
  • At our school we use code locks – keep the codes secret from other parties.
  • Once you have accepted and booked a course, you are liable to pay for the entire semester by swish or by card. Refund is possible after one lesson, but before the second lesson.
  • We have family fees when several siblings are students at Knivsta kulturskola. The total fee will be shown in the cash register.

Instrument rental

We rent out certain instruments, such as brass instruments and strings. Rental is 300 SEK per semester and is invoiced together with the tuition fee for the semester. The leaseholder is responsible for expendable supplies during the rental period (new strings, reeds etcetera).
